Unfortunately this place went out of business . Too bad cus I really liked their tacos. They were originally a food truck. I don't know if they still run it?
Definitely worth even more than 5 stars! We stopped in and had dinner and the staff were absolutely welcoming and awesome. The atmosphere is laid back and there's artwork up from Historic Tattoo Studio that was really cool. The food was mind blowing! I had the Borracho Por Vida and it was amazing!!! My husband had the OG tacos which he enjoyed but I just know they couldn't have been as good as my borracho por vida. We will definitely be regulars here. They also have vegan options that I'll have to try since I love my veggies
Couldn't have been more pleased with their take on Birria tacos, the Borracho Por Vida. I've never had seared tacos (3) before and I'm looking forward to the next opportunity. The flavors were excellent, and not just of the slow cooked carnitas, cheese and jalapeno relish in the tacos, but also their spicy consome (Mexican au ju) + fideo and beans. Never knowingly had fideo before, but it's just a cooked, good textured noodle that went well with the beans and consome. Good location with plenty of seating and my tacos were made to order. The $15 price point was well worth it. Lived up to the reviews... and then some.
My friend took me here for lunch. The place was super cute and bright. I had one of the sandwiches and she had a burrito. We each had a cocktail too. I had a whisky lemonade and she had a blackberry margarita. The sandwich I had was so flavorful and the meat was tender. The au jus paired perfectly for dipping. The rice and beans they served were the perfect amount. I really loved how the rice was da little crispy. The drinks so we're so delicious. They were the perfect amount of refreshing and not too sweet. Service was wonderful. Our water glasses were kept full and the server was prompt with service. I'd definitely go here again. It's a great little place.
I really enjoyed their food overall. Honestly they made beans perfectly and the burrito was exceptional. Service was always good and the location had a great style to it. Really sad to see this place close for business.
